With its charismatic design, the Royale wine cabinet makes a real statement. But aside from offering a display unit where you can squirrel away your finest wines, it also makes judicious use of finely tuned technology, drawing on over forty years of research and development. For wine enthusiasts, this is the ultimate in wine cabinets.
Imagine a cabinet where wine ages in ideal conditions. A place where it transitions seamlessly from the wine growers’ cellar and matures until it reaches its peak. The project, which mobilised the teams at EuroCave for three years, is the brainchild of group chairman Pascal Marchand: “We had the know-how and all of us wanted to achieve it. It also seemed obvious that EuroCave should produce the finest wine cabinet in the world. All that was needed was to get organised and launch the project.” For three painstaking years, the French manufacturer designed and tweaked every detail. Fitted with countless innovations – thermodynamics, air treatment and electromagnetic wave sensor for example – the Royale wine cabinet is in the vanguard of technological development. “We have managed to achieve an unprecedented level of precision and performance”, says Sébastien Bussonnière, a researcher with the EuroCave engineering and design department.
Just like a precious piece of jewellery, Royale is a wine cabinet that you want to show off. Placed either in a kitchen-diner or lounge, it is a stylish piece designed to be put on display. Its unusual double frame and different textured design and finishes stand out. Its shelves, designed to accommodate all types of bottles including magnums, incorporate cleverly judged lighting to enhance each label. On the outside, the mineral-grey and red-earth decorative panels – echoing the minerality in the soils of Chablis and the warmth exuded by heating large barrels – create a natural atmosphere. From behind, the minimalist aesthetics have also been carefully thought out. As proof of its authenticity, each Royale wine cabinet is numbered.
