Sommelier’s advice on serving wine when entertaining

Interview with Fabrice Sommier
Meilleur Ouvrier de France Sommelier in 2007, Fabrice Sommier invites us for an aperitif and gives us some advice on how to serve wine when having friends over.

How should you choose wine? How should you prepare wine? How should you serve wine?

Some of the many questions that we ask ourselves when inviting friends round to enjoy a bottle of wine.

Fabrice Sommier reveals what he does when entertaining friends and gives his advice, the steps to follow to guarantee an optimal wine drinking experience.

Fabrice Sommier uses Wine Art which won the 2015 Innovation Prize awarded by Bettane & Desseauve, the effectiveness of which has been scientifically proven by la Cellule d'Expertise Scientifique En Œnologie (CESEO – oenology scientific expertise unit) of Institut Universitaire de la Vigne et du Vin (wine and vine university institute).
Wine Art brings bottles of red, white and/or rosé to an ideal serving temperature, allowing the flavours of the wine to fully express themselves.
Wine Art preserves open bottles – an air vacuum system allows bottles to be protected from any risk of oxidation for up to 10 days after opening.
